Another Thursday night of Jack‘s brackets at Speedway is in the books. We had 57 cars entered in the competition. It was a night of very close, I mean very close racing with a lot of fun trash talking. I made into the quarter finals with 3 cars but could not seal the deal. It was great to see Jesse back on the podium in third place with new comer Chris making it to the finals. But he ran into, you guessed it, the man and soon to be legend “Mr. Podium” TJ Heisser. Well you all know the outcome. T J once again took home the money. Congrats guys and really great job Chris on your runner up podium finish. Thank you to all of our guys and gals for your support and making race days so successful and fun. Thank you to David for the amazing venue that he has supplied and supported. Thanks to Troy for his tireless work running these races. Until next time go fast and have fun! ... See MoreSee Less

🏁 24 Lanes of Daytona – Race Recap 🏁
What an absolutely incredible day of racing! A full field plus on entries packed the house, and the competition did not disappoint.
After Leg 1, the intensity was already off the charts—the top five were separated by just four laps, and Bud and Larry crossed the line literally inches apart fighting for the lead. Edge-of-your-seat stuff.
Leg 2 turned the heat up even more. Drivers were flat-out, pushing their cars to the absolute limit in a spectacular display of speed and control. Once again, Larry edged out Bud—this time by only three laps. Close behind were John, Kaden, and Jess, setting up an epic showdown. Heading into the final leg, only 15 laps separated the top five. Anyone could still win it.
The final leg was pure drama. Early on, drivers were ripping off the fastest laps of the entire event, cars were dialed in and focus was razor sharp. But Daytona demanded its price. John suffered a lead-wire issue that cost valuable time, and Bud endured a brutal wreck on the front straight that sheared a guide flag. Both made repairs and finished strong, but the damage was done.
Kaden charged hard and claimed the win in the final leg, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Larry’s consistency across all three segments. When the dust settled, Larry Stoker stood tall as the overall winner.
A huge thank you to Mike’s Hardware and Building Supply and Mike’s Lighting for their outstanding support, and a special shout-out to Mrs. Donna for presenting the trophy in Victory Lane. Most of all, thank you to every racer and supporter who continues to make Speedway the South’s leading destination for slot car racing.
We’ll see you at the next event! 🔥🏎️

Thanks everyone. Thanks to Mike's for sponsoring our event and support throughout the year. Also thanks for the "standing tall" comment. Usually not referred to as tall. Was a lot of fun. The food was great. Thank you Mr. Probst. 🏎️🏎️🏎️🏎️
